Spring is in the Air

today is beautiful - sunny skies, mild air and green grass is pushing its way through the warming earth
I am aching to get into my gardens and begin cultivating flowers and fruits and veggies. For my birthday I was given a trip to the nursery to pick out some new woody ornamentals and perennials and I can't wait to go! This year we have expanded our farm stand to include additional inspirational gardens, a shade house and potting area, funky sedum & stonecrop planted containers and a cutting garden.

The stand has unique and heirloom perennials & annuals and we are also going to expand the veggie garden and I hope to offer some fresh, organic veggies as well (if there is any left over from our family harvesting, eating, canning, etc). The raspberry patch has really come into its own, so I am hoping for a great harvest this year.
The stand is a 24hr self-serve honor system and its so amusing to see people pulling up at 10:00 at night to get their plant fix.
