we had the best group of gals
the workshops were a blast

we were psyched to have her and her son (who is a really great kiddo) as our guests here in Maine
we had a really great time visiting w/ them and they were such great helpers as we setup!
plus we got to have some Jersey porkroll and her famous tacos - YUM!

is almost here...whoooopeeeee!!!!!


We are soooo excited for our art retreat that begins next week.
We have an amazing group of women, tons of goodies planned and we should have a really great time.



The workshops are amazing - Kecia and Robin have outdone themselves with gorgeous stuff!

summer night spectacle

the show began with a creeping fog


it lurked amongst the fields
and spread its feathery tips in and around the swaying corn


whispering
beckoning


an odd audience was in attendance, watching silently








the shadows began to cast their ink-blue hues


it seemed as if time had stood still


the audience gasped...then fell silent once again in awe

I was so thrilled to see that Kecia Deveney of Lemoncholy's Studio has a wonderful artist interview that just came out on the Blue Sand Studio blog.

She is sooo talented and we are tickled to have her as one of our instructors at our mixed media art retreat, Art in the Rough this summer.
